GBL is governed by a board of trustees representing member organizations and independent individuals focused on leprosy. The board provides strategic direction, oversight, and governance to ensure the organization’s mission and objectives are achieved.

Mentor

Mentors at GBL are crucial, offering professional expertise and leveraging networks to connect with key stakeholders and ensure resource stability. They shape strategic initiatives, facilitate partnerships, and secure funds to advance GBL’s mission to eradicate leprosy and support affected communities. Additionally, Mentors provide strategic advice on communication and assist in program development, enhancing GBL’s effectiveness.

Council of Advisors

Advisors are drawn from diverse expertise and perspectives to support GBL’s mission. Individuals in independent capacity are invited to provide expert advice, facilitate the implementation of activities, and guide the organization through voluntary engagement. 

Secretariat and Regional Presence

The GBL secretariat is based in Bengaluru, with a pan-India presence through its member and associate member organizations. Regional offices coordinate local activities, ensuring effective implementation and community engagement.

Member Organizations

GBL comprises civil society organizations committed to eradicating leprosy and supporting affected individuals. Member organizations collaborate on projects, share resources, and contribute to the collective mission of GBL.

Associate Members

GBL has a number of Associates across India to leverage their presence at the grassroots and incorporate their knowledge, experience and perceptions, and work with entities, who are engaged in services to the leprosy sector.
