GoodBye Leprosy (GBL) welcomes applications from passionate students year-round, offering placements at GBL or with member organizations. The internship provides a chance for students to learn and contribute back to society.

Interning with GBL provides practical experience and exposure to social work and fosters discipline, enhancing communication skills and social awareness. 

The intern’s role is to assist in daily office and field activities, aligning with the organization’s mission and vision. At the end of the internship, a certificate of internship will be issued.

Duration of Internship:

  1. Duration of internship with GBL is available around the year for a minimum commitment period of 3 months full-time or on a part-time basis. 
  2. Time-to-time short-term and event/ activity-based internships can also be provided subject to our requirements and candidate expertise.
  1. Location: Interns are expected to work at GBL (Bangalore) or with respective member organization head office/ field locations across India.

    Interns may engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

    • Assisting in creating and developing content for social media platforms.
    • Collaborating on literature, training materials, and PowerPoint presentations.
    • Participating in and supporting fundraising and resource mobilization efforts.
    • Updating the organization’s website.
    • Conducting public education and awareness campaigns.
    • Providing networking and coordination support as needed.
    • Collaborating with relevant departments based on organizational requirements.
    • Conducting desk or field research, collecting and compiling data, and undertaking any necessary tasks to meet organizational needs.

    *Note: Based on discussion, Interns can also opt for activities of their interest or with specific skills.

    • Students willing to learn and contribute from varied streams such as: communication, social science, humanitarian, arts, or management, can apply.
