When I was trying to figure out which cause to support, I initially was very confused as all causes seemed equally compelling. I then asked myself what caused the most suffering to a lesser privileged person, and the answer was clear - a leprosy - impacted person due to the damning effect on his/her status/residency within the group he/she resides in and the potential loss of livelihood due to misinformation and biased mindsets against persons affected by leprosy. I call them the "living dead" due to these 2 factors and therefore decided to support their cause.

GBL is a laudable initiative to leverage the collective potential of a group of NGOs operating in the leprosy space to create a much larger impact together than they could individually, and I have great faith in GBL's ability to eradicate leprosy from our country.
